A grandfather, his grandchildren, and a dog - families can be shaped in many shapes or sizes. The same can be said about the way families express their affection toward each other.
Grumpy Affection follows the many adventures and strange situations this family finds itself in. Each illustration frames one moment of their lives, many of them with the grandfather angered by the children's actions. However, the point is not about frustation, but rather about how they are always together.
A man of few words, the grandfather never tells his grandkids he loves them - he instead shows it with his actions.
Grumpy or not, the family is always united, going to many places, and creating memories that will be forever cherished. This ongoing series is a reminder for all of us to support and love our close ones, even if that comes off as a grumpy affection.
